Future Leisure is based on the ancestral and unceeded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), səlil̓wətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nations, also known as Vancouver.

Established in 2018 to support the creation, instruction and presentation of innovative interdisciplinary performance works, and the development of a more sustainable and inclusive arts community locally and across the country.
